Description
The Little Street by Johannes Vermeer | Hand Painted Oil Painting Reproduction
Own a museum-quality hand painted oil painting reproduction of The Little Street, a stunning cityscape masterpiece by Johannes Vermeer of the Dutch Golden Age.
Painted around 1657–1658, this rare outdoor work by Vermeer captures a quiet residential street in Delft. The artwork features red brick houses, textured cobblestone lanes, wooden shutters, and ordinary local women going about daily chores. Soft diffused daylight and gentle clouds bring warmth and tranquility to this humble everyday scene. Unlike most of Vermeer’s famous indoor paintings, The Little Street is one of his few surviving outdoor city views, now kept at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
Our skilled artists recreate this artwork entirely by hand on premium canvas, not a printed poster. Every brushstroke faithfully reproduces Vermeer’s subtle light, brick texture, earthy colour palette and peaceful atmosphere of old Delft.
