A Young Woman Seated at a Virginal by Jan Vermeer – Handmade Oil Painting Reproduction
A Young Woman Seated at a Virginal is one of Jan Vermeer’s most beloved works of the Dutch Golden Age. This iconic domestic scene portrays an elegant young woman seated at a virginal, a type of early keyboard instrument.
Vermeer filled the composition with thoughtful details: the striking deep blue silk dress, the ornate marble-painted virginal, a cello resting on the left, a rich tapestry curtain, and a framed old master painting hanging on the wall behind her. The painter’s unmatched skill in rendering soft natural light, luxurious fabric textures and quiet intimate atmosphere makes this artwork timeless.
This is 100% hand-painted oil painting reproduction, NOT a printed poster. Our professional artists recreate every subtle nuance from the original painting: the lustre of silk gown, delicate lace cuffs, shadow gradations and classic muted colour palette.
